Know who does what.

Graphora connects members with opportunity information. Your retirement-account custodian handles the account and administrative process for supported investments. Graphora is not an IRA custodian. A custodian's willingness to hold an asset is not an endorsement of its quality.

Confirm the account requirements.

Ask your custodian and qualified advisors whether your account can hold the proposed investment and what documents are needed. Confirm any funding or transfer steps with them before moving money. Tax treatment depends on your circumstances and transaction structure.

Understand restrictions and conflicts.

IRA rules restrict certain investments and transactions involving you or other disqualified persons. Personal benefits, conflicts, and prohibited transactions require careful review. A professional connection to a company does not make a retirement-account investment automatically permissible.

Evaluate the investment itself.

Private investments can be hard to value, difficult to sell, and subject to fees. You may lose some or all of your investment. Account eligibility does not establish suitability, and a planned secondary market does not guarantee an exit.
