Senior Advisor — Corporate Development & Private Capital
Dubai, United Arab Emirates · Primarily remote
Your regional contribution
Help Graphora and companies in its ecosystem understand and develop relevant relationships in the UAE and wider GCC. Contribute to regional market entry, corporate partnerships, family-business relationships and cross-border company growth.
Relevant relationships: UAE and GCC corporate leaders, family-business principals, family offices, investment partners, distribution partners and experienced regional operators.
Help build companies—not just connections.
Graphora is an AI-native private-capital platform connecting founders and emerging companies with investors, strategic customers, experienced operators and advisors. Our approach combines capital with the expertise, relationships and commercial opportunities that help businesses grow.
We are seeking accomplished General Partners, corporate-development leaders, corporate venture executives and experienced company builders to join Graphora’s Senior Advisory network.
This is a cross-industry opportunity for professionals who can assess a business, understand its strategic priorities and help connect it with the right customers, partners, operating expertise and capital relationships.
About the role
As a Senior Advisor, you would contribute to selected opportunities across Graphora’s funds, syndicated investment programmes and company ecosystem, within an agreed scope.
Your contribution could include evaluating a company’s commercial potential, advising on an acquisition or strategic partnership, supporting international expansion, helping a founder prepare for institutional engagement, or assembling the relationships needed to execute a growth strategy.
We welcome complementary backgrounds. An experienced General Partner may bring investment judgment and portfolio-company experience; a corporate-development executive may bring acquisition, partnership and integration expertise. Candidates do not need to have held both roles or worked in every industry.
What you would contribute
Corporate development and strategic growth
- Help founders and company leaders assess growth priorities, market-entry opportunities and strategic alternatives.
- Identify relevant commercial partnerships, distribution arrangements, licensing opportunities, joint ventures and potential acquisition relationships.
- Contribute to the evaluation of strategic fit, business models, competitive positioning, transaction rationale and integration considerations.
- Help companies prepare for substantive discussions with corporate-development teams, strategic customers and executive decision-makers.
Private-capital and General Partner perspective
- Bring experienced judgment to company, management-team and market evaluation.
- Help assess financing needs, business risks, milestones and the capabilities required to reach the next stage of growth.
- Contribute investment-committee-style analysis and constructive challenge to company and fund opportunities.
- Support portfolio-company development through relevant operating expertise, executive relationships and strategic planning.
Regional and cross-border relationships
- Help Graphora develop meaningful relationships in your selected market and other markets where you have established experience.
- Introduce appropriate founders, corporate leaders, fund partners, family offices, institutional relationships and experienced operators.
- Help companies understand local commercial practices, partner expectations and routes to market.
- Collaborate with Graphora’s industry-specialist advisors to combine sector expertise with broader commercial and investment experience.
Who should apply
- Current or former General Partners, Managing Partners, Investment Partners or Operating Partners at venture-capital, private-equity or growth-investment firms.
- Heads of Corporate Development, M&A, Corporate Strategy, Strategic Partnerships or Corporate Venture.
- Family-office investment leaders with substantive company-evaluation and portfolio-development experience.
- CEOs, founders and senior executives who have built, acquired, integrated or expanded businesses.
- Senior transaction or investment professionals with demonstrable company-building contributions.
We are particularly interested in examples of businesses you helped grow, partnerships you developed, transactions you supported and portfolio-company outcomes to which you contributed.
The relevance of your experience and relationships matters more than the size of your contact list.
Industries
The role spans Graphora’s opportunity ecosystem, including healthcare and life sciences, enterprise AI and software, energy and infrastructure, consumer businesses, real estate and hospitality, media, industrial technology and supply chains.
Deep expertise in several areas is valuable; expertise across every sector is not expected.
Commitment and compensation
Advisory engagements can begin at 2–4 hours per month and expand to 40 hours per month, depending on the agreed responsibilities. Work is primarily remote, with local meetings and travel agreed separately.
Compensation varies by engagement and may include cash, equity or carried-interest participation where separately agreed and appropriate. Scope, compensation, vesting and other terms are established in writing before an engagement begins.
Separate Operating Partner opportunities may involve a greater commitment and would be discussed independently.
